Program & Operations Administration Roles

Our Monthly Programs are scheduled to return in March 2021 and WE NEED YOU to make them happy!! We are now recruiting for positions on our Youth, Teens & Charity teams.

Client Manager  

  • Your main responsibility will be as a point of contact for our clients (families from refugee backgrounds).  You will establish relationships with the families, co-ordinate their attendance at our programs, and be the main point of contact for issues, as well as goal setting and ensuring general satisfaction and enjoyment of our clients.

  • You will work with the program manager, and the volunteer manager to ensure smooth running of our monthly program days.

  • You will need to make phone calls to clients in-between program days to co-ordinate their attendance.

  • On the program day you would ensure they are engaged and flag any issues with the program manager.

  • You will need to complete debriefs in our online administration system, and ensure client details are up to date.

  • Time Commitment = 1 x Program Day a month (Sat), 1 x Admin Day a month (Sun), approx. 2-3 hours of phone calls and team Skype meetings per month. In total approx. commitment is 3 to 4 days per month.

 

Event Manager

  • Your main responsibility will be planning the activities for each monthly program. Our programs incorporate a developmental activity, as well as a recreational activity, so if you have a passion for young people and want to help them be the best version of themselves possible, then we'd love to hear from you!

  • Time Commitment = 1 x Program Day a month (Sat), 1 x Admin Day a month (Sun), approx. 2-3 hours of phone calls and team Skype meetings per month. In total approx. commitment is 3 to 4 days per month.

 

Volunteer Manager

  • Volunteer managers are required to ensure we have enough general program volunteers to support the teens program each month, support volunteers on the program day, and follow up with phone calls to ensure volunteers are well supported.

  • You will work with other programs to shift and co-ordinate volunteers to match the number of clients.  Then you will create a volunteer schedule for the program day, and you will co-ordinate and be a central point of contact for volunteers.

  • There will be some administrative duties like follow up phone calls with volunteers to survey and gain feedback, update the database of volunteer details, and co-ordinate with training teams to ensure volunteers have all of their training needs met.

  • Time Commitment = 1 x Program Day a month (Sat), 1 x Admin Day a month (Sun), approx. 2-3 hours of phone calls and team Skype meetings per month. In total approx. commitment is 3 to 4 days per month.

The majority of our funding comes from grants that are individually applied for by our talented grants writers. We need an experienced grants writer to manage our grants writer team to help us get the funding we need to continue operating.

Grants Manager

  • We are seeking an experienced and motivated Grants Manager who will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities for our programs. As part of this role, you will lead the Grants team in drafting, proof-reading, and submitting applications to secure ongoing funding, and organizing the submission of acquittal reports at the end of a funding period.

  • Your responsibilities will include: 

    • Lead and co-ordinate the Grants Team in identifying funding opportunities and drafting grant applications

    • Work closely with Treasury and the President to stay up to date with current funding levels for each program

    • Oversee the drafting and submission of acquittal reports at the end of a funding period

    • Attend a monthly admin day (can be every other month)

  • We are seeking a commitment of around two to three hours per week. ​

  • Website & graphic design ​

  • Social media strategy 

  • LinkedIn marketing strategy 

  • Website SEO strategy
