VOLUNTEER TO WORK BEHIND THE SCENES

Joining a management team

Getting involved in the administration side of Australian Refugee Volunteers is a great way to get an understanding of the behind the scenes workings of an NGO and an excellent way to add valuable experience and skills to your resume.

Specific roles that we have vacant now are listed by clicking on this link...

For general expressions of interest, you may be interested to join one of the program management teams or become part of one of the following operations teams:

  • Recruitment

  • Training

  • Grants

  • IT (Wix and KeystoneJS)

  • Social Media

Joining the administration side of Australian Refugee Volunteers requires a high level of commitment and understanding of the organisation and its aims. Therefore most administrative volunteers also need to attend some program days.

We require administration team members to commit to 12 months of volunteering.

Management or not-for-profit experience is desirable, although we welcome people with all sorts of backgrounds and experience levels as long as you are dedicated and willing to learn!

For any questions relating to the recruitment process, please send an email to: recruitment@arvolunteers.org
