At ARV we welcome energetic, committed volunteers who have a genuine passion for helping others!
We are always looking for volunteers to actively work with children as well as those who like to work behind the scenes - in recruitment and training, administration, grants and fund raising, volunteer management and activity planning.
Volunteering
Our general program volunteers commit to attend our monthly program days where we take children out to participate in fun activities. Read about our programs here.
Volunteers collect children from their homes, take them to the activity location where we all come together as a group and enjoy the day, and then we drop the children back at their homes.

We are most keen for volunteers who can assist with driving and picking up the children, engaging with them during the day and dropping them home at the end of the day. We find this gives the best outcome for building trust and friendship with the children. We do also have a few roles for non drivers.
Alternatively if you are interested in opportunities to volunteer behind the scenes - in recruitment and training, administration, grant writing, volunteer management and activity planning click here for information.
For any questions relating to the recruitment process, please send an email to: recruitment@arvolunteers.org
