Australian Refugee Volunteers works with children and families from asylum seeker and refugee backgrounds who are in need of assistance, regardless of their status.
For many of our families, Australian Refugee Volunteers provides services that they would never normally have access to or be able to afford. Our programs help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation for new refugee families by providing links to the community and helping our clients make connections and strong friendships that are essential to starting a new life in Australia. We work hard to make sure that our programs and excursions are both developmental, focusing on increasing social, behavioural and communication skills, and also fun, giving our kids a new reason to smile.
If you would like to refer a family in the Sydney area to Australian Refugee Volunteers, please fill out our referral form (PDF or Word) and email completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will get in touch with you.
